Ag industry programming to launch in Central Valley
Morales a 20 year veteran in the promotional and advertising arena is joined by seasoned media veterans Ed Prince V.P. of marketing and Barbara Etrick V.P. Business Development and multimedia services. With their unique media format, FABN will commence the initial roll out with a four hour radio program, M-F 5:00-9:00AM, featuring a two hour block of “live” talk and interviews providing an open platform for industry leaders and guests to address important topics and issues impacting the agricultural industry in the Central Valley and throughout California. As part of their state wide network plan, FABN has chosen 105.5 FM KJZN The Truth in Fresno, California, Wilks Broadcasting L.L.C. www.fresnostruth.com to serve as their flagship station and anchor with immediate expansion plans that will include affiliate radio stations throughout the entire state. “I am extremely excited to partner with FABN in launching a product of such importance,” said Layne Ryan, Vice President and General Manager of Wilks Broadcasting’s area stations. “This industry and these issues are so critical, not just to those who are directly involved in day-to-day agribusiness, but to every one of us that are proud to call the Central Valley home.” Expansion plans include a second phase launch through a partnership between FABN and Sacramento based Crossings TV www.crossingstv.com with distribution on Comcast cable channel 238 that will provide TV coverage of the live radio programming throughout northern California’s key Ag industry markets. FABN plans to be on site at this year’s annual World Ag Expo, February 9-11 www.worldagexpo.com for interviews with agriculture industry leaders’ everyday of the show. A strong combination of radio, television, internet video broadcast and a very aggressive advertising campaign which includes a statewide agriculture event road show tour executed by Creative Marketing Solutions (www.cms4u.net) will provide a strong platform to the underserved Ag and Farm industry. |
