Highly anticipated Farm Ag Broadcasting Network to Launch

Ag industry programming to launch in Central Valley

Fresno, CA, January 12, 2010: The Farm Ag Broadcasting Network (FABN) www.fabnnow.com announced today its plans and official launch date as February 1st 2010 in Fresno California. “We are very excited and pleased to launch this much needed programming here in the Central Valley” said Joel Morales president of FABN. “We are providing a much needed channel of distribution for news, information and business opportunities for the agribusiness industry”.


Morales a 20 year veteran in the promotional and advertising arena is joined by seasoned media veterans Ed Prince V.P. of marketing and Barbara Etrick V.P. Business Development and multimedia services.

With their unique media format, FABN will commence the initial roll out with a four hour radio program, M-F 5:00-9:00AM, featuring a two hour block of “live” talk and interviews providing an open platform for industry leaders and guests to address important topics and issues impacting the agricultural industry in the Central Valley and throughout California.

As part of their state wide network plan, FABN has chosen 105.5 FM KJZN The Truth in Fresno, California, Wilks Broadcasting L.L.C. www.fresnostruth.com to serve as their flagship station and anchor with immediate expansion plans that will include affiliate radio stations throughout the entire state. “I am extremely excited to partner with FABN in launching a product of such importance,” said Layne Ryan, Vice President and General Manager of Wilks Broadcasting’s area stations. “This industry and these issues are so critical, not just to those who are directly involved in day-to-day agribusiness, but to every one of us that are proud to call the Central Valley home.”

Expansion plans include a second phase launch through a partnership between FABN and Sacramento based Crossings TV www.crossingstv.com with distribution on Comcast cable channel 238 that will provide TV coverage of the live radio programming throughout northern California’s key Ag industry markets.

FABN plans to be on site at this year’s annual World Ag Expo, February 9-11 www.worldagexpo.com for interviews with agriculture industry leaders’ everyday of the show.

A strong combination of radio, television, internet video broadcast and a very aggressive advertising campaign which includes a statewide agriculture event road show tour executed by Creative Marketing Solutions (www.cms4u.net) will provide a strong platform to the underserved Ag and Farm industry.
